We at Blue Skies Flying Service believe that flying is FUN and we try to teach that way, too. When it stops being fun, we will stop flying. The excitement you feel on the first flight should continue through all your flying. We work to keep that up. At the same time, we approach each flight lesson in a professional manner because the Private Pilot certificate can be the first step toward a career in aviation (and still be fun).
Blue Skies Flying Service has existed as a flight school for over 16 years. We began with one aircraft and have seven aircraft today. This growth has occurred because of our belief in putting the student first. We believe that the most important person in Blue Skies is the person we are talking to right now. In other words, we try to be “user friendly”. Our policies are as generous as possible and still maintain the business with high safety standards.
Our aircraft are not new but they are maintained in nearly new condition by the owner who is an AP mechanic and IA. We have a personal interest in the maintenance the aircraft are receiving.
The aircraft fleet at Blue Skies consists of three Piper Warriors, one Arrow II, one Archer III and two Cessna 172R's. All the aircraft are IFR certified and 6 have an IFR GPS.
We invite you to enjoy your flight training with us.
